Dose

• Oral therapy is instituted as soon as the diagnosis is made.
• The standard dose of Generic Vibramycin is 100 mg or 200 mg, which usually depends on the severity of the bacterial infection. For the treatment of syphilis, the recommended dosage is 300 mg once daily for at least 10 days.
• It is imperative to use Generic Vibramycin for the number days recommended by your physician. For instance, if your doctor has advised to take the medicine for 10 days, make sure you take it for 10 days.
• You should not exceed the number of days of the treatment. You should complete the total course of antibiotic treatment even if you notice an improvement in for a few days.

• Clostridium difficile-induced diarrhea has been reported with the use of all antibiotics, including Generic Vibramycin; this may range from mild diarrhea to colitis. • Photosensitivity has also been reported in some people who use Generic Vibramycin. So, patients using this antibiotic are sensitive to sun and can experience sun burn due to exposure to the sun. Users are advised to stay away from sun exposure during the course of treatment.
