Asthalin 100mcg inhaler contains a quick-acting anti-asthmatic medicine. Salbutamol widens the airways and makes breathing easier in patients with asthma and other breathing difficulty conditions. It thus relieves the symptoms of wheezing and shortness of breath.

Dose

Asthalin 100 mcg Inhaler 200 mdi is available in tablet, capsule, syrup and inhaler forms. Inhaler: One inhalation of Asthalin 100 mcg Inhaler 200 mdi may be administered as a single dose which may be increased to two inhalations if found essential. If the response is inadequate, higher doses than two inhalations can be used. However, the maximum recommended dose is two inhalations three or four times a day.

• increased blood flow to your extremities (peripheral dilatation)
• changes in sleep patterns and changes in behaviour, such as restlessness and excitability
• muscle tension

• Asthalin Inhaler should be used with caution in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
• Asthalin Inhaler should be used with caution in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
• Asthalin Inhaler is not likely to affect you being able to drive or use any tools or machines.
• Do not use if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to salbutamol or any other ingredients in this medicine.
• Asthalin Inhaler should be used with caution in patients suffering from active heart diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.

Warnings

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription or the following:

• beta-blockers for your blood pressure e.g. propranolol
• digoxin (used for heart problems)
• theophylline, aminophylline (used for asthma)
