Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) is the disorder caused by the infection of the microorganisms specifically on the intimate parts (sexual organs) and spread by the sexual contact. STDs can affect to any individual from any age group once he comes in contact with the intimate parts of the other person who is suffering with the STDs. But, as we all love to have sex, so to avoid it would be nearly difficult. The best way to prevent STD is to wear the protection during the sex. Yes, the use of the condoms during the sex is best prevention method against STDs. Suppose if your partner is suffering with the STDs then wearing the condoms is one option and satisfying your sexual desires just by masturbation can also serve the purpose. Avoiding the sex with the multiple partners will also assure the prevention from the STDs. Even sex with the stranger or person who you just meet on the first date should not be had sex with because you don’t have any idea about the sexual history of the person. Even the use of the Spermicides by the women to kill the sperms is found to be very effective in killing many bacteria that cause STDs, so you are prevented. Even the use of the vaccination against these STDS is best method to prevent them.

How to treat STDs?

Sexually transmitted diseases are best to controlled when at the initial stage, if they get worse and then you try to control them, then it becomes really difficult to treat them. STDs can be treated only after knowing that which microorganism is responsible for the infection. Everybody feels little ashamed to show his intimate parts to the doctor, but the first step towards treating STDs is to give up your shame and meet the doctor and undergo the examination of the parts infected by the sexually transmitted diseases. Once the doctor understands that which microorganism has caused the infection then he could suggest you with some cream that would kill that organism and if the infection is severe then antibiotics could be used which will provide you the quick treatment from the STDs. If the disease is bacterial vaginosis or bacterial infection of penis then doctor may ask you to take Metronidazole, Clindamycin cream, or Metronidazole gel. He may also tell to follow certain hygiene steps like cleaning the intimate parts regularly or wearing no underwear or lose underwear. But, the first thing you must do is to visit the doctor if you have any symptoms of the STDs.
