Prostate Cancer is the condition or disease that is caused by the mutation or multiplication of the prostrate cells. This leads to the formation of the tumor in the prostrate which finally becomes cancerous. The cells growth in the prostate is so uncontrolled that the metastasis of the cells takes place, which means spreading of the cells to the adjacent body parts and destroying them. This is the surgical method that includes the complete removal of the prostate gland from the human body. Prostatectomy is one of the oldest prostate cancer treatments, which shows the highest success rate than all other treatments. Radical prostatectomy is the removal of the entire prostate gland and possibly the seminal vesicles and surrounding nerves and veins. The part of the urethra traveling through the gland’s transition zone is also removed.

“Cryo” as the word suggest is the freeze. This treatment involves the freezing of the prostrate to kill the cancerous cells. This therapy is good as a temporary treatment but it fails to give the permanent relief from the prostate cancer.
