Masturbation refers to sexual stimulation, especially of one’s own genitals (self masturbation) and often to the point of orgasm, which is performed manually, by other types of bodily contact (except for sexual intercourse), by use of objects or tools, or by some combination of these methods. Masturbation is the most common form of autoeroticism, although masturbation with a partner (mutual masturbation) is also common.

Solo Masturbation:

Masturbation is a part of life and our sexual practices. Solo masturbation is stimulation of sex organs by self. It is a solo activity and it does not encroach upon anybody’s freedom. This prevents pregnancy and STDS. Masturbation costs nothing, and it is the surest way to prevent STD and HIV infections. Sociologists feel that had masturbation not been there, the rapes, homosexuality, prostitution, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS would have been on increase.

Mutual masturbation:

Mutual masturbation is often termed the safest type of sex you can enjoy with a partner. Since it is self stimulation and the male never enters the female, no fluids are exchanged. When two do it to each other, it is called “mutual masturbation.” About 93 to 98 per cent of men and 60 to 80 per cent of women do it. However, most of them do not disclose it. It is a normal step in the development of sexuality.

Another myth associated with Masturbation is that, teenagers shouldn’t masturbate often, as they will lose the ability to have children. This also is not true as Teenagers tends to masturbate more often than adults as their hormone levels are at the highest they will be in their lifetime.
