2. Drink lots of water. A healthy individual must drink at least 3 to 4 liters of water in a day. If your body has sufficient amount of water then your fitness level would be at the best. All the body process require waters, it acts as the medium in few body processes, and plays a significant role in the supply of the nutrients to all body parts. Drinking sufficient amount of water will keep your weight in control and maintain your fitness at optimum level.

3. Sleep well to allow your body to get the adequate rest. As we eat, even we require the sufficient amount of sleep. It is during the sleep that all our body process works properly. Sleeping phase is the rest period for the body that helps the person to revitalize the energy levels. The functioning of the heart stays at very best state if the person sleeps well. Even the nervous system performs all its functions well the person gets the adequate amount of sleep. The immune system of the person is also dependent on the amount of the sleep the person gets. Sufficient sleep is basic mantra for good fitness.

4. Eat the fruits on daily basis. At least one fruit in a day is necessary for the good fitness level. Don’t eat just the one fruit every day; include the variety of the fruits. It would be better if you include the different fruits because this will help you to supply the variety of the nutrients. Basically, the fruits rich in Vitamin C are must be included as this Vitamin is very essential for many body processes.

5. Do the necessary physical activity in the day. It is necessary to do the required physical activity in the day as it helps you to stay healthy. One of the best ways to do so is to spend at least 20 minutes in a day walking. This helps to burn the unwanted calories from the body that helps in maintaining the healthy weight. Otherwise you can even indulge in daily exercise routine. This will also help you in staying fit. Another thing is practicing yoga. It is the age old technique of exercise that keeps your mind in calm state of mind and also keeps your health at the optimum level.
