DOSE : | | For most patients, the recommended dose is 100 mg taken, as needed approximately 1 hour before love-making activity. However, Edegra must be taken an hour before you plan to make love. Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 150 mg or decreased to 25 mg. It is recommended to take the dose only once in a day. If you are not getting the effect then it is advisable to consult the doctor before increasing the dosage. SIDE EFFECTS : | - The most common Edegra side effects are headache and indigestion. Less commonly reported side effects are back indigestion. Less commonly reported side effects are back pain, muscle aches, nasal congestion, facial flushing and pain, muscle aches, nasal congestion, facial flushing and dizziness. Uncommon effects are swelling of the eyelids, eye pain and red eyes.
- Heart attack, stroke, and irregular heart beats have been reported rarely in men taking this medication. Most, but not all of these men had know heart problems before taking this medicine. It is not possible to determine whether these events were directly related to Edegra.
- If you have any of these side effects and they are troublesome, severe, or do not go away, tell your doctor.
- Allergic reactions (including skin rashes) could occur. In rare instances it is possible that a prolonged and possibly painful hard on may occur after taking this pill. If you face persistent hard on, for more than 4 hours, you should contact a doctor immediately.
- In case of chest pain occurring during or after love-making activity you should NOT use nitrates but you should seek immediate medical assistance.
- If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
