The human prostate is of the size of the small plum that is located above the base of the male reproductive organ and below the urinary bladder. Even the occurrence of the impotence and premature ejaculation are noted to be the warning signs that you are the verge or suffering with the cancer of the prostate.

Advances in the medical sciences have made it possible to cure the prostate cancer completely. The uncontrolled growth of the cells in the prostate can be controlled with the help of the some of the medicines. Once these medications stops the spreading of the cells then the radiation therapy is being utilized that burns the remaining cancerous cells. This way the prostate cancer can be cured. Even hormonal therapy is used at the initial modes of treatment. But, if all these treatments fail to show the results then surgery is the only option left that gives you a confirmatory result from the prostate cancer.
