Hair is important for both men as well as woman .The hair is often dubbed as the “crowning “glory of a person. All of us make it a point to get the best of hair style and we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on the maintenance of the hair style

Any kind of hair can be treated in many ways to look more appealing. Hair coloring, hair lighting, and many other styles with fancy names might make your externals look great. It is not a sin to opt for a better hair style but on a deeper sense many of us tend to overlook the fact that the styling lotions, creams all have got the ingredients which actually tend to destroy the hair follicle’s growth.

Hair salons have products which make hair shine and give the much wanted awaited soft texture but all the sulfate and methylisothiazoline plays its own havoc on our hair and on our nervous system.

Recently researchers at the United States National Institute of Health have found a correlation between active ingredient mostly used in popular shampoos and in hair problems .The researchers actually conducted their experiment with the brain cell of rats and observed that when this ingredient was used on rats, it caused damage to their nervous system.

This chemical methylisothiazoline caused hindrance to the normal networking of the neurons and this in turn affected the complete functioning of the brain. The normal function of the brain and the nervous system was hindered completely and this active ingredient was used in most of the shampoos which promises its customers great hair.

Moreover when pregnant woman were exposed to this harsh chemical based shampoo researchers have identified that it affected the fetus and increased the danger of abnormal brain development.

Many other chemicals that hit this list are Kaolin, Lanolin ,sodium laureate ,tyrosine and many naïve consumers would actively buy any kind of shampoo bearing in mind the mesmerizing hair glow of the models who posed in the commercials .Little do they understand about the harshness these chemicals cause on the hair.
